a slender, solitary omnivore. predominantly grayish-brown with two distinctive white patches on each wing. typically pairs monogamously and has been known to attack animals many times its size to defend its territory. a male’s repertoire often contains more than 150 distinct song types. songs are acquired through imitating other birds, the vocalizations of non-avian species, and assorted noises in its habitat.
